Whitehall Place, is a Grade II listed building and plays a significant part in Gravesend's prestigious naval history.
Constructed in 1772, Whitehall Place has a fascinating legacy. Formally known as Gravesend’s Customs House until the early 1800s, the site was used to house customs operations as ships stopped at the port for mandatory checks on their passage along the Thames or stopped off to unload.
Prior to this, the site of 47 The Terrace, was also home to 'The Fountain Tavern', the namesake of our gorgeous boardroom.
Having acquired the property in 2020, Whitehall Place has undergone a full refurbishment to bring the interior up to a modern standard, but also honour the buildings incredible history.
